HOW THEY MET: We both went to college at Auburn University and met one night at a Christian Fellowship meeting in the Fall of 2002. We were always friends and later realized there was something special between us and starting dating in the summer of 2004. The rest is history.
THE ENGAGEMENT: Holly's Birthday was on December 8th, and the following Saturday for her birthday, Rob told her they were going to Atlanta for dinner and a show. After driving an hour, Holly noticed they were stopping in Auburn and Rob explained they were going to look at the Christmas lights around campus. After walking around campus, they finally arrived at Samford Hall. They took a seat on the front steps and Rob waiting on the Clock to chime, then he asked her to marry him. They then decided to eat in Auburn instead of going to Atlanta, so they went to their favorite restaurant in Auburn, Provinos. Rob had secretly arranged for all of their family and friends to be at the restaurant when they arrived, so when they did, everyone cheered and enjoyed dinner together.
FAVORITE DATE: During the Christmas Holidays of 2004, Rob came to visit Holly and her family and took her to a "Celtic Christmas" by the Mobile Symphony Orchestra. They loved the music so much that they asked Tom Morley and the Silverwood Quartet to play the music for their wedding.
WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT HIM: That he can make her laugh, any place, at anytime, about anything!
WHAT HE LOVES THE MOST ABOUT HER: Is her personality. When Holly comes in a room the whole room seems to light up. There has never been and will never be another girl like her.
