HOW THEY MET: We were both working as assistant golf professionals for Craft Farms. We first met when I went to the Woodlands to help instruct a Junior Golf Clinic.

THE ENGAGEMENT: Geoff wrapped the ring and cleverly put it into a teddy bear’s arms under the Christmas tree. After opening gifts and having dinner he presented the bear to me and proposed.

FAVORITE DATE: A spontaneous trip to Gatlinburg, TN.

WHAT SHE LOVES MOST ABOUT HIM: I love that he is easy going and honest. I love that he takes care of me and makes me feel secure. I love that my best friend is now my husband.

WHAT HE LOVES MOST ABOUT HER: I love that she is laid back and we have a lot in common. I love that she does a lot of little things for me even when they may seem to go unnoticed. I love that she can make me laugh and she can laugh at herself at times.

WEDDING COLORS: Pearl pink and silver

WEDDING THEME: Sand dollars and seashells were used as decoration to give the room a relaxing, beach-like feel.

WEDDING FLOWERS: White and pink roses

WEDDING CAKE: Three-tiered square with buttercream icing in white with different shapes bordering each layer and a pearl pink ribbon on the top that draped down each side.

WHAT WE WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY: We would have booked our honeymoon from Monday to Monday. And then we would have been able to enjoy more of the reception.

WHAT WAS UNIQUE ABOUT THE WEDDING: We had a “Hand Ceremony” in the place of the “Unity Candle”.
