Lose 3 to 9 Inches in Just 2 Weeks!

A bride who is trying to lose weight or inches has a lot of advantages in her favor.  The primary key is to know your personal advantages and learn how to use them.
Here we will take a look at some of these and how to use them best:

Set a deadline:  When we want people to quit smoking, we get them to set a deadline because that forces them to action.  As a bride, you already have a deadline set for you.  You just need to use it to your advantage.
Think of your deadline as a positive thing.  Do not spend time worrying about how you are going to fit in the dress.  Instead, focus on the positives.  Think about how great it will be fit in that dress and look great for the cameras!  Then think about about you need to do to reach that happy moment.  The positive thought will motivate you to stick to your diet and exercise.

Set a Goal:  When trying to help people lose weight, we try to get patients to set concrete goals.  You already have a goal in mind since you want to fit into your dress and look great.  This goal can be a great motivating factor.  Think about your goal in a positive manner by thinking about how great it will feel to fit in that dress.
Too often, we spend time wondering whether we will meet our goals.  This raises our stress levels and makes us worry.  Instead focus on how great it will be to meet your goal.  Think about how great it will be walk down that isle and spend time with your near and dear ones.  Thinking of these positives, will help you achieve your goal.
Do not stress about whether things will work out as planned.  Instead think about what a great time you will have and use that positive thought to motivate yourself to do the work in a calm and collected manner.

Get Professional Advice:  You are going to be spending thousands of dollars making sure that the flowers and the tables look good.  But investing is yourself is much more important.
Many brides starve themselves in an effort to lose weight.  This can backfire in the long run and can cause serious health problems.  Find someone who can advise you on how to lose weight.  Get a second opinion if you need to

Medications Can Sometimes Help:   Medications can help those who are severely overweight but do not take them if you are already close to your ideal weight.  One medication that is often used is called Phentermine and it is a stimulant that suppresses appetite.   This can raise blood pressure so be sure to consult a physician.
Some people get weekly shots called “lipotropic Injections”  that contain different supplements that make it easier to burn fat.  They often have natural supplements such as Methionine, Inosital and Choline which make it easier to burn fat.  Methionine is an amine acid that helps in burning fat.  Inositol and Choline are in the B vitamin category and help when you are trying to burn fat.  Often people can get more energy with these shots.
Another medication called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is sometimes used for weight loss.  This is a hormone that is given off in pregnancy, but in pregnancy one needs to be able to use one’s fat so it helps in accessing those fat stores.  It also speeds metabolism and suppresses appetite.  It is not FDA approved for this so some physicians are not aware of this use.

There is a new weight loss laser that could be a perfect fit for most brides.  This laser called Zerona is just the right energy that it can hurt fat cells but does not burn the skin and does not cause any pain or side effects.  When the fat cells die off over two weeks, they send signals to other fat cells and fat is no longer needed and more fat cells die off.  Therefore, people lose inches even in other areas that the laser does not target.  The laser is aimed at the buttock and thighs but people lose inches even in the arms and neck.

The great news in your being able to utilize these techniques before your Gulf Coast destination wedding is that we are fortunate to have a practice right at the beach where we can use all of these options and allow you to come in from long distances to get help with weight loss options just in time for your most important of days.
Think of it as an investment in yourself!
